Reshma Patel is a Program Director with the American Institutes for Research Opportunity Fund, where she works to fund and foster partnerships to improve educational experiences, enhance justice in public safety and policing, strengthen economic mobility, and improve health outcomes for underserved communities.

Previously, Reshma served as the Executive Director of Impact Network for 12 years, a nonprofit organization providing quality education to over 6,000 children in rural Zambia. Under her leadership, Impact Network expanded from 9 to 44 schools in just five years, transforming education access and quality for underserved communities.

An expert in scaling programs, education innovation, and impact evaluation, Reshma has shared her insights globally, speaking at events from Washington, D.C., to Zurich on topics including technology, teacher training, and community engagement.

Before her tenure at Impact Network, Reshma worked at MDRC, a nonprofit research organization focused on finding solutions to improve outcomes for low-income communities, with a particular emphasis on education. Earlier in her career, she served as a pension risk analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Reshma holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
