PEAS Zambia Alumni Study: Baseline Report 2026

29 05 26

This baseline report opens a longitudinal study of what happens to young people after they leave secondary school in Zambia, and how their futures match their aspirations. Drawing on 783 Grade 12 students across PEAS, PEAS Partner, and non-PEAS schools, it examines their educational experiences, career ambitions, financial literacy, civic engagement, and readiness for life beyond school. The result is a snapshot of students' hopes and challenges at the point of leaving, and a foundation for tracking their post-school journeys and the long-term impact of secondary education in Zambia.
