PEAS are thrilled to be taking part in this years’ Big Give Christmas Fundraising Challenge. This means that every donation made to PEAS before Tuesday 5th December will DOUBLED when donated via the Big Give portal.

This is a rare opportunity to double your impact and more importantly enable more young people to access a transformative secondary education.

Whilst primary education is almost universal across Africa, only 1 in 3 children attend secondary school. Not enough schools exist and where they do, many provide a poor standard of education and an unsafe environment. Yet, getting a good education, in a place they feel safe, is the best chance adolescents have to develop the skills they need to fulfil their potential.

This week, we are aiming to raise £15,000, which will be matched £ for £ by the Big Give to support 430 more young people to access a life-changing secondary education.

PEAS have come a long way in 15 years, from building our first school in Uganda to becoming one of the largest not-for-profit secondary school networks in Sub-Saharan Africa. However, there are still many more young people who do not have access to a safe, quality education.

You can help change this. For one week only, for every student you support, the Big Give will support one more.
