George Secondary School Committee and local community member

In our local communities, there are very many children who do not go to school. Many children would drop out of school because they cannot afford the fees, and for some it is too far to travel to the nearest secondary school. It is very difficult to get a job when you are older if you do not have a G12 certificate, so these children as disadvantaged for the rest of their lives.

George Secondary School is very important to our community. We are very proud that now we have a secondary school and we must work together and work hard to make sure that the school has all the support that it needs. PEAS has given us a gift and it is up to us to secure the future for our children and many other generations to come by helping the school.
