This is an excellent opportunity for teachers to spend time with your kids outside of the school environment.
This will be a fun-packed day where the children have the chance to be outside under the watchful eye of our stewards. Not only will they be able to see the wonderful sights of London and their city, but they will also have the chance to learn about citizenship and become aware of problems relating to extreme poverty in Africa. Finally, they will also get a sense of pride from being part of helping us to build a new school and make a difference to the lives of children in Africa.
I really did love it and I made some new friends - I thought this walk was really pleasing.
- Emma, Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls
All we need you to do is encourage the kids in their sponsorship efforts and turn up on the day for the fantastic walk. We will do the rest: we will provide you with a school pack and interactive DVD with all the relevant information and our stewards will be dotted all around the route to give you extra support on the day (and stickers for the kids!).
So come join us on 20th May 2012. Register your interest now by clicking here. It will take just five minutes!
On registration you will recieve a fundraising pack, versions of risk assessments and parent letter templates to use in school, as well as posters and other fundraising material to help you make the most out of Bridges to Africa.
