The PEAS Zambia Team

The first school in Zambia, PEAS's second country of operations, launched in January 2012. The small team supporting the development of a PEAS school network in Zambia include:

Racheal Kalaba

Managing Director

Racheal has extensive experience in international development, leadership and gender. Before working for PEAS she worked in varied roles with responsibilities including advocating for quality education and gender inclusion in line with women empowerment, at both a national and international level.

Lizzie Butler

Education Consultant

Lizzie completed a degree in Anthropology at Durham University before two years as a Citizenship and Geography Teacher at a school in Birmingham on the Teach First programme. She stayed for an extra year as Head of Geography before taking up the opportunity with PEAS as an Education Consultant. Lizzie spent 4 months working with the Education team in Uganda before moving to PEAS Zambia.

 

Brian Musonda

Finance Officer

Brian is a qualified Accountant with experience working in both the private and public sector. He currently manages the finances of PEAS Zambia and will support the senior school staff with the effective financial management of PEAS Zambia schools. Brian is currently pursuing his Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification part-time.
