PEAS Emergency Appeal (May 2010) Due to the economic downturn that's affecting everyone at the moment, PEAS has missed out on some vital funding and has a budget shortfall of £50,000. This means that we may not be able to build the second school we were hoping to this year in the district of Kitgum, Northern Uganda. We desperately need to build the school, so please give to our emergency appeal at www.just.giving.com/PEASappeal. £130 pays for a permanent place in the school, £20 buys a desk and chair and £1,500 pays for all the books the school initially needs.
