Our Partners

Teach First
PEAS has developed a ground-breaking partnership with London's Teach First programme. Teach First selects outstanding graduates from some of Britain's top universities and places them as teachers in 'challenging London schools' for a period of at least two years. Participants of Teach First also benefit from leadership training at Tanaka Business School, Imperial College, London.

PEAS and Teach First send alumni of the programme to Uganda. These volunteers will have two main roles; founding new PEAS schools and helping to develop teaching and learning by transferring the skills and knowledge they have learnt during their time in London schools.

'Teach First is pleased to be working in close partnership with PEAS. The charity and its projects look set to make a huge impact on educational disadvantage in Uganda. By sharing the expertise and resources they have developed in London schools, this is a great opportunity for Teach First ambassadors to extend the impact of our programme into another area of the world.'
Brett Wigdortz - CEO, Teach First
