Sarah Ntiiro Secondary School

A new school opened in 2009 in Mayuge district, Uganda

In February of this year, the fifth PEAS school  - Sarah Ntiiro Secondary School -was opened near the town of Mayuge, in Mayuge district in Uganda. The school will open in February 2009.

The name, Sarah Ntiiro, remembers the first ever female graduate from Uganda's top university, Makerere. We think it's a fitting tribute and will act as a source of inspiration to the young people who will soon be part of the school.
