PEAS and your school

PEAS has a strong history of working with schools in the UK to further our work in Uganda. There are many ways for your school to get involved in helping us to deliver much needed educational opportunities to some of the most disadvantaged young people in one of the poorest countries of the world.

Bridges to Africa
Sunday 11th May 2008

Bridges to Africa is an annual sponsored walk involving students from schools across London and the UK. Students join together to walk over 10 bridges of the Thames, from Vauxhall to Tower bridge in Central London. The money raised by students is used by PEAS to help build a new secondary school in Uganda.

PEAS has developed a scheme of work on Poverty in Africa, as part of the Bridges to Africa event. Visit the event website here to find out more.

Other ways to get involved

Because of the nature of our work, developing new secondary schools in Uganda, there is a natural link between PEAS and secondary schools in the UK.

We work with many schools throughout the year who choose to fundraise for the charity.

Please contact us if you think your school could help PEAS.
