A new school opened in 2009 in Butagaya, Jinja district, Uganda
| The fourth PEAS school - Kiira View Secondary School - opened in February 2009 in a rural area of Jinja district in Uganda. The school serves the community of Butagaya. This school has been developed as a result of our exciting new partnership with the COINS foundation. You can find out more about the COINS foundation by visiting our partners page. |

| The site for the school overlooks the river Nile, near it's source Lake Victoria. 'Kiira' is the name of the river in the local language. The school opened with classrooms, a library and laboratory, an administration block, a dormitory and quality sanitary facilities. |  The main buildings at the school (January '09) |
